Gundala is a 2019 Indonesian neo-noir superhero film directed and written by Joko Anwar. The film is a co-production of Screenplay Films, Legacy Pictures, Ideosource Entertainment, with Gundala's copyright owner Bumilangit Studios. The movie is based on the 1969 Indonesian superhero character story Gundala created by Harya Suraminata.
